• We have received the latest data from the speed displays and note that road speeds on the Watlington road have progressively increased over the last few months with nearly a quarter of vehicles driving in excess of 40mph. Over double the legal speed limit.
•  Traffic volume on the Watlington road also increased significantly in March by around 35% over previous months.
• We are now collecting the data from Church Road and St Helens avenue which will be added to the summary report.
• The meeting of the Benson Safety Group was successful and areas of improvement/concern around the village were discussed and listed. The next meeting is planned for August 12^th in the village Hall.
• We have now received the speed monitoring equipment from Thames Valley police and hope to establish some SpeedWatch sessions in the village soon.
