Paddling Pool

The paddling pool at Rivermead is currently closed as it had deteriorated beyond repair and would not now meet current health and safety requirements or Environment Agency requirements on discharge of water into the River.

A volunteer group has been working on plans to revamp the Rivermead area by improving public access to the river for kayakers and paddle boarders, an access ramp, landscaping, new seating and shaded areas. A new pool will be part of this.
