Parish Council Team

The parish council maintains a staff team, including a mandatory parish clerk who offers support to councillors and ensures adherence to legal requirements. In Benson, our team also includes a part-time Responsible Finance Officer overseeing income and expenditure, an Operations Officer and Assistant Clerk responsible for managing parish buildings and bookings, allotments and assisting the Clerk, one full-time facilities/groundsman plus a part-time groundsman, a cleaner and a part time Communications Officer.
