In general the speed patterns are similar to previous months with 25% of drivers on Watlington Road still exceeding 40mph. That means in September  over 1100 vehicles a day are travelling at twice the speed limit. Vehicle numbers on Church road and St Helens Avenue fell in September which may have been a result of road closures in the village.

We are still scheduling Speedwatch roadside sessions but need more volunteers to help. If you want to make Benson a safer place for all -please volunteers to help. Drivers who are measured exceeding the speed limit will receive warning letters from Thames Valley police. Multiple offenders may be prosecuted.
