Temporary Road Closure – Old London Road, Benson
A temporary road closure will be in place on Old London Road (outside property number 34), Benson, to allow essential works to be carried out.
Details of the closure:
- Reason: Replacement of one pole
- Start date: Friday 10 July 2026
- Working hours: 08:00 to 18:00
- Duration: Up to 5 consecutive days
Access arrangements: Limited access will be maintained for:
- Emergency service vehicles
- Properties within the closed section (subject to the progress of works)
Pedestrians will be escorted safely through the site at all times.
Diversion route: The suggested alternative route will be via: Old London Road → St Helen’s Avenue → Church Road → Castle Square, and vice versa.
