As many of you are aware, Barhale, working on behalf of Thames Water, will soon begin essential works in the Benson area to install 500 metres of new foul sewer pipe. This new pipe will connect into the existing sewer system and strengthen the local network. Please see the attched letters for more information. We have spoken to the construction team who understand that residents may be frustrated and upset during this time. They say that they will work as quickly and as courteously as possible to minimise disruption. They have issued the following letters-

Please note that the Crown Lane intersection with the High Street will be closed 6th October-29th October-the footpaths will remain open. Crown Lane will be closed 6th October-18th December. Please refer to the road closure post of 18th August for more details and maps.
