Assistant Parish Clerk and Operations Officer
Based at:
Parish Hall Sunnyside, Benson OX10 6LZ
Hours:
30-37 hours per week by negotiation, flexible working including occasional evening meetings (will consider 30 hours for the suitable candidate)
Salary:
£33,143-£34,434pa (NJC PayScale 21-23) pro rata dependent upon experience and subject to pending pay increase

Benson Parish Council is seeking a motivated, highly organised and proactive individual to join our team in this varied and rewarding role.
About the Council
The Council plays a key role in delivering local services and managing community assets, including many green spaces, allotments and two main buildings with hireable spaces, and a further one to come next year. As an ambitious and forward-thinking authority, it is actively involved in community development, place-making and improving quality of life for residents.
About the Role
The role focuses on managing the hall, hirers and booking system; supporting the grounds team to deliver services for the community; and assisting the Clerk with projects, priorities and events.
We are looking for someone who thrives on delivery, enjoys variety and wants to make a visible difference in a growing and ambitious community. From coordinating projects and improving services to supporting governance and helping deliver major council priorities.
