Thursday, 8th May – Big Benson Street Party Join us on Sunnyside at 4pm to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. The provisional plan includes a ceremonial RAF Service at 5pm, live music from swing band “One Jump Ahead,” and dancing. At 9.30pm, we will light a beacon along with the national beacon lighting. Residents are encouraged to bring picnics and picnic blankets, but there will be food and bars available. This is a fabulous opportunity for the whole village to come together and have fun. Volunteers will be needed-please contact the office at comms@bensonpc.org.uk
