We’re excited to share that a new community litter picking initiative will begin this August.

Thanks to the generous support of McDonald’s, who have donated litter pickers, high-vis jackets, and gloves, we’re ready to get started. A special thank you goes to Abi Turner, a local resident who has kindly volunteered to lead this effort.

First Litter Pick Details

• Date: Sunday, 3rd August
• Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm (or whenever you’ve had enough!)
• Meeting Point: Outside Parish Hall

Whether you can stay for 20 minutes or the full session, your help will make a real difference. After the pick, please return litter bags to the village hall by 12:30pm.

Abi hopes to make this a monthly event, but there’s no pressure to attend every time—just come along when you can!
