Oxfordshire County Council has issued an Emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice for the closure of Church Road, Benson to allow foul connection works to be carried out by SCS Oxon Ltd.

Start date: 7 September 2026 Duration: 09:30 – 15:30 (inclusive)
Expected completion: 17 September 2026
Access will be maintained for emergency services and, where reasonably practicable, for properties within the closed section of the road.
Diversion route: Church Street, A4074 and B4009 (and vice versa).

Location: Sunnyside, Benson (from Littleworth Road up to Number 8)
Dates: 15 September 2026 to 19 September 2026
Reason for Closure: Thames Water new connection works
Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained where possible throughout the works.
Diversion Route:
Littleworth Road, Watlington Road and Hale Road.
